• ArkEdge Space establishes international frameworks for high-precision and resilient space-derived Positioning, Navigation and Timing (PNT) with partners in the UK, US and Australia

• New collaborations will strengthen cooperation among trusted partners and support mission-critical space and terrestrial infrastructure

Tokyo, Japan: ArkEdge Space Inc. (“ArkEdge Space”), a Tokyo-based space start-up delivering micro-satellite constellations from design to operations,today announced a significant step toward building a globally trusted, resilient PNT ecosystem.

Under its Low-Earth Orbit (LEO) PNT satellite constellation concept, ArkEdge Space has signed separate Letters of Intent with TrustPoint Inc. (USA), the Royal Institute of Navigation (UK), and FrontierSI (Australia). These agreements reflect a shared commitment to advancing resilient space-based PNT capabilities for civil, commercial, and security-focused users worldwide.

This collaboration marks an early but important milestone in ArkEdge Space’s international PNT efforts. Working with leading organizations across friendly and like-minded nations, ArkEdge Space aims to support informed policy development, help strengthen national PNT resilience strategies, and explore how space-based PNT can enhance the reliability of critical infrastructure and operational assurance in an increasingly contested environment. 

As the project moves into a demonstration phase, ArkEdge Space plans to deepen engagement with partners globally to build a trust network that supports the future of resilient PNT from space.
